Pumpkin Patch Play

Join Elementary Science Specialist Danielle De Frank in giving thanks for the wonder & awe that is hands-on science by exploring pumpkin patch-themed play.     Discover the difference between chemical & physical reactions with apple eruptions & soda geysers. Determine the best shapes for building by engineering an edible dome. Investigate if the size of a pumpkin determines the number of seeds inside & meet the mysterious matter known as Non-Newtonian fluid. This is a family friendly event open to ages 5-14.  (Kids between the ages of 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.) All supplies will be provided including crafting materials, curriculum, goodie bags, refreshments & certificates of completion.  Seating is limited to 10 registered participants for an engaged, intimate hands-on science experience.  Refunds will be honored up to one day in advance of the event, but same day no shows & cancellations will not be refunded. *Please notify by e-mail if your child has food allergies or needs learning modifications by FRIDAY, November 16th so adjustments can be made.  FAQs  How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
